She's given three TEDx talks garnering over 700,000 views, and has shared her message of science and space advocacy with educators, professionals, thought leaders, K-12 classrooms, and Universities around the world.

Increasing the level of scientific literacy among the general public is also something Calandrelli cares deeply about. She believes that everyone, despite their educational background, can understand scientific topics. She hopes to convince more people of this and foster a higher level of scientific literacy in society through her work. With this in mind, Calandrelli has written a number of books, including the Ada Lace Adventures series, to inspire more women and girls to pursue STEM careers and help them find the support that they need to fulfill their dreams in these fields.
